As our customers, Roseanne and James prepare for their trip down, we thought we'd share the package we made possible using their ideas, destination desires, budget, and dates of choice. They'll arrive at Liberia Airport (1) where they've chosen to test the public bus system to reach
Playa Tamarindo (2) and stay at their local accommodations as suggested by CRsurftrip. After a few relaxing days beachside, they'll take a semi-private shuttle transport that will pick them up from their location in Tamarindo and drop them directly at their next accommodation in La Fortuna (3), Costa Rica, a large town at the base of the Arenal Volcano. They plan to do some hiking, a day trip to Cerro Chato, and basking in the warmth of the naturally occurring hot springs! Next, they'll take a vehicle to Lake Arenal where they'll board a boat which gives them incredible views of the volcano and surrounding landscape. This serves both as a sightseeing tour and their transportation to the third destination in Santa Elena (4), best known for its proximity to the famous Monteverde Reserve. While visiting Monteverde, Roseanne and James have chosen to take a hanging bridge tour (which includes transportation to and from the accommodations arranged by CRsurftrip). They'll also participate in a night hike with a local bilingual guide in the Monteverde Reserve where they'll enjoy the walking tour while seeking out both nocturnal animals and those that have settled down for the night. From Monteverde, they'll take an early public bus where they make one transfer which brings them directly to our Home Base in Playa Samara (5), Costa Rica to finish out their two-week journey! In Samara, Roseanne and James will have the incredible timing to enjoy the local rodeo that arrives during the last week of December each year! They'll celebrate the New Year in a foreign country with tons of locals and visitors to the area! They're also set to take a kayak and snorkeling tour with CRsurftrip local guide, Jairo. While surfing wasn't on the list this time...you never know what the excitement and Pura Vida of Costa Rica may provoke! If this trip, or any portion or variation of it, interests you, get in touch! We're ready to help you plan your trip of a lifetime to Costa Rica (surfing or not) and we can't wait to get started! Comments are closed.
